Stewardship Ministry
We serve the congregation of Forest Hill Church. The Stewardship Ministry plans a year-round program to promote the health of the church body — at the individual, the congregation and community level — by cultivating the Spirit through greater awareness, gratitude, giving and actively honoring the resources in our trust: our time, our talents and that which we treasure, including our natural resources.

Our Mission
Giving of our time, talents, and treasures is the call of Jesus to Christian Discipleship. We encourage believers to use their gifts from God in the congregation’s Matthew 25 “church of action” giving back love, racial equity, mercy, and justice to the Jesus in all people.

What is Stewardship?
We consider Stewardship to be the grateful response to God’s grace, goodness and abundance. It is more than giving money to the church but also our time, talent and testimony. Simply put, Stewardship is about being faithful disciples, caring for and managing all that God has given us. Learn more about Giving to Forest Hill Church.

Who makes up the Ministry?
Our Ministry is made up of Elders who serve three years and Elected Leaders, who serve at least one year or longer. The Ministry meets at least once a month and sometimes more during our campaign season towards the end of the year.
2023 Session Members: Jenny Himmelman (Elder) and Keith Logan (Elder) and Elected Leaders: Sally Davis, Kim Hill and Peter Williams

What is our prayer?
Our prayer is that the members and friends of Forest Hill Church will continue to respond to the Holy Spirit’s call for us to be loving stewards of the great abundance God has given us. Support through your time, talents and financial commitment for the coming year is an opportunity to offer gratitude to God for these plentiful gifts.
Thanks to your commitment, the discovery, celebration, and witness of the transformative power of God’s unbounded love will be nurtured through the ministries and peoples of Forest Hill Church.
