Forest Hill Church partners with other churches in the Presbytery of the Western Reserve to serve the needs of the inner-city North Presbyterian Church. Many of the congregants are temporarily homeless, in transitional housing or are housing insecure. Many lack basic hygiene items.
Listed below are items being collected by the partner churches through Friday, December 5. Please consider making a donation from the list. There is a drop-off container in the Hunter Sanctuary Entrance at Forest Hill.
- Body soap
- Shampoo
- Deodorant
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Toothbrush holder
- Razor
- Feminine napkins
- Tampons
- Small mirror
- Dental floss
- Skin lotion
- Hair conditioner
- Nail clipper
- Wet wipes
- Disposable washcloth
On Saturday morning, December 6, volunteers will gather at North Church to assemble care packages of the donated items. If you would like to join us and learn more about homelessness in Cleveland, please contact Jack Breisch or Melanie Alban.
Thank you for your support of this vital urban ministry.
