About The Event
Presented by the Ministry of Adult Spiritual Growth of FHC
This two-hour workshop is an interactive session in which participants will experience and make decisions based on various fact-based scenarios built around government policies since the Civil War which have perpetuated racial inequity, wealth and wellness gaps still felt today.
This workshop intends to call participants to heightened awareness and actions to reduce these gaps and advance racial justice in our community and society. Particularly, discussion will explore practical and local steps individuals and congregations can take to help assure fair and equitable access to voting in the upcoming election cycle.
This workshop is presented in partnership with Fairmount Presbyterian Church and the Race Action Network of the Presbytery of the Western Reserve. Coffee, tea and light snacks will be provided at 8:30 a.m., prior to the start of the workshop.
This workshop has been postponed until a date to be determined.
