WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN VOTER TURNOUT THIS NOVEMBER?

FHC is joining with Beth El The Heights Synagogue and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church to co-sponsor a GCC Get Out the Vote Canvass & Calls to Cleveland Heights Voters

We will be talking with neighbors in our community, folks who are registered but who don’t always vote, to encourage their vote. Last year, GCC’s time-tested, relational deep canvassing approach increased voter turnout by 16% in five Cleveland neighborhoods. It works! Let’s bring that GCC magic to CH!

While we hope for a strong turnout to canvass, we know not everyone who wants to do something this election is up to that task, so we will also have call lists available, to expand our outreach to voters. Callers will need to bring a cell phone.

A light lunch and a short training will be provided. We will have scripts for calls and for canvassers, and canvassers will have the GCC Voter Guide to share as we talk with our neighbors.

As a sponsor and the HOST congregation, we hope for a strong FHC turnout. Families are welcome, so plan to bring the kids or grandkids, and together let’s do this. To say YES, count me in, contact Diana Woodbridge or sign up on a Sunday to come. Be sure to let us know if you will canvass or call.
