About The Event

Join us as we continue the journey to learn about your family history with the next class on the U.S. Census. The census is one of the most important records to use in your search showing you where they lived, where they and their parents were born, their age, race, marital status, who lived in the household and their relationships, occupation, and immigration status.

The information from each census alone gives you a snapshot of the family, but by combining several years together, you can begin to see patterns in occupation, residences and many other characteristics that can help you discover the stories of your ancestors. And there are always surprises!

This class will meet in South Hall. Please contact Cindy Newton or the church office to sign up for the class.
