Sunday Sept 10

11:00 am          Worship Service in the Sanctuary
1:00 pm            Volunteer! Youth will serve as ushers at “For My White Friends Who Know Me”
2:00 pm            “For My White Friends Who Know Me” – youth are invited to attend the play together. It’s a thought-provoking play that examines cross-racial friendships; challenges assumptions and stereotypes; examines expressions of privilege; and calls on us to work for racial equity, one friend at a time. Sunday, Sept 17

9:00am             Volunteer!  Help the Deacons set up tables and chairs for today’s picnic.
11:00am           Worship Service in the Sanctuary
12:00pm           Fall Apple Fest Picnic – hang out with friends on the lawn and enjoy burgers, hot dogs, grilled veggies, and all kinds of apple desserts!

Sunday, Sept 24

10:00am            Youth and Parent Meeting to discuss a possible 2024 Youth Group Learning/Service Trip to the U.S./Mexican Border.
11:00am             Worship in the Sanctuary
12:30-1:30pm   Join in a percussion workshop led by Josh Ryan, percussion professor at Baldwin Wallace. Professor Ryan will be teaching us rhythms from Cuba and Africa. We will play in worship on the following Sunday, 10/1 for World Communion. There is a $10 cost per participant. 2:00pm             Immigration Forum with Callie Hernandez and Pastor Abraham Barberi, who serve immigrants at the U.S./Mexico border. We would visit Callie and Rev. Barberi to learn about their mission(s) if we were to travel to Texas on a learning/service trip in 2024.

Sunday, Oct 15:  

11:00am           Worship service led by Pastor Abraham Barberi, with opportunity for conversation following the service.
