Choir Rehearsal

Choir Rehearsal

We are especially proud of our music program at Forest Hill Church. Music Director Anne Wilson is a master of creativity and innovation. In addition to our Chancel Choir every Sunday, it is not unusual to have bagpipe or dance performances, visits from solo musicians, or children featured as cantors. The congregation and choirs sing music from the rich heritage of traditional Presbyterianism along with music of diverse world cultures. African drumming, bagpipes, liturgical dance, Ionian Community songs (from Scotland), Taize chants (France), Freedom songs (South Africa) - all of these music styles from around the world bind us together as Christians singing a joyful song to the Lord.

Sine Nomine

Sine Nomine

The volunteer choirs of the church include the adult Chancel Choir, the youth Sine Nomine Choir, the children's Descant Choir, the very young children's Cherub Choir, and Voices in Bronze (bell ringing).

Special events such as "Christmas Lessons and Carols" and "Bach by Candlelight" occur annually.
