What’s New
Celebrate is a common theme throughout the life and programs of Forest Hill Church. We don't only celebrate Christ's presence in the world, we also celebrate our friendships, and community. There are many opportunities to get together with others for spiritual discussions, service and fun. Our dynamic membership has created groups of all kinds, for all interests, in a Christian environment:
Fellowship From Above
Presbyterian Women host several small groups known as Circles, that meet for fellowship, discussion and service.
Women's Spirituality is open to all women for a monthly meeting discussing spiritual journeys and challenges facing women.
Men's Spirituality similarly is open to all men for a bi-weekly meeting discussing spiritual journeys and challenges facing men.
Hilltoppers, Bullshevicks, The Group, Pacesetters, Fish, and Back Row are adult social groups that vary in age ranges and gather for anything from theatre outings to canoe trips and Super Bowl parties.
Senior High Youth Fellowship (Ministry of Believers or MOB) meets each week during the school year for service projects, social activities and retreats.
Mid-High Youth Fellowship (also MOB) meets regularly to share in the joy of fellowship through social events and service.
One Book/One Church Twice each year members of the church gather in homes to share dinner and a conversation about a book that all have read. In the past year we have read God’s Politics by Jim Wallis, The Heart of Christianity by Marcus Borg and most recently Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis.
Softball Each summer from April to August Forest Hill’s softball team chases a championship in the church softball league. In the past five years Forest Hill has been to the finals four times and won the championship twice! We play to win but have a lot of fun and no one takes it too seriously, except for the pastor!
