What’s New

Service to the community is a very important part of Forest Hill.  The Home Repair Resource Center was birthed by concerned and committed members of FHC. Originally named “Forest Hill Church Housing Corporation,” it has grown to serve the housing needs of Cleveland Heights.

The church is also a long-time supporter of Heights Community Congress, Heights Interfaith Council, Hillcrest Neighbors, and Garden Valley Neighborhood House.  Our members can be found building houses with Habitat for Humanity, competing in a spelling bee to raise funds for the public schools, or actively involved in important community issues such as public school reform, Candidates Night, and the effects of Welfare reform.

Forest Hill Church is involved in mission beyond our walls and our city through The Presbyterian Church (USA) and its commitment to peacemaking.  We participate in four special offerings: One Great Hour of Sharing Offering for hunger and human development; the Pentecost Offering for children and youth services; The Witness Offering for international mission partnerships; and The Joy Gift Offering to support racial/ethnic colleges and universities and retired ministers.
